Correction, Retraction, Withdrawal Policies
Corrections
- Before publications: PDF Galley proofs are sent to the author for proofreading and corrections are done before the PDF’s are sent for printing.
- Post Publishing: Corrections are published if the publication record is seriously affected with regard to the accuracy of published information. Corrections are published in the subsequent issue under Corrections and addendum.
Retractions
The Journal of Business, IT, and Soil Science (BITS) follows a retraction policy primarily guided by the guidelines and standards established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Withdrawal Policy
Manuscripts can be withdrawn by submitting a letter to the editorial office, providing the reasons for withdrawal. If an author requests withdrawal within 10 days of submission, it can be done without incurring any withdrawal fee. However, should authors choose to withdraw manuscripts after the review and acceptance stage, a withdrawal fee will be applicable is $50.

The aim of the “Journal of Business, IT, and Soil Science” is to provide a comprehensive platform for the dissemination of research findings, innovations, and critical insights at the intersection of business, information technology (IT), and soil science. By bridging these seemingly disparate fields, the journal seeks to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration among researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and other stakeholders.
