Journal of Business, IT, and Soil Science (BITS) is an open-access journal, signifying that all content is accessible to users and institutions without any fees. Readers have the liberty to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles without obtaining prior permission from the publisher or the author, aligning with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access.

While open access offers advantages to the scientific community, it also entails greater responsibilities.
